Welcome to Teen Options for Teen Problems

We are a company dedicated to helping parents find appropriate placement for their troubled and defiant teen problem. We work with various different options for at risk youth. Included in our list of options are Boot Camps, Boarding Schools, Residential Treatment Centers, and Wilderness Programs. We also help parents arrange financing for youth programs if they are in need of assistance.

Drug and Alcohol Rehab

Some teens mistakenly believe that alcohol is less addictive than drugs. The rehabilitation for addictions to either is very long and painful. Of course it is better to never use illegal drugs at all but there is help for those who have developed an addiction to drugs or alcohol. There are two widely known organizations that work with addictive behavior. Alcoholics Anonymous and Narcotics Anonymous the basis for each of these is very similar. They both rely on group support to keep their fellow group members clean and sober.

The success of these types of programs is manifest by the number of organizations that exist and the number of people that they have helped. Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees for AA membership; they are self-supporting through their own contributions. AA is not allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organization or institution; does not wish to engage in any controversy, neither endorses nor opposes any causes. Their primary purpose is to stay sober and help other alcoholics to achieve sobriety.

What Can We Do For You?

Teen Options is continually looking for quality schools to represent. We have a pre-screening form that we send to a potential school to determine if they qualify for us to recommend them. The typical student we are working with will do anything to remove him or herself from a structured setting. We talk to parents all of the time that have police records for abusing their children. The parent may have done nothing more than spank their child. School While we don't condone child abuse in any shape or form we believe that in many cases child abuse is in the eye of the beholder. There are youth today that will say they are being abused if they have their cell phones taken away or if they are sent to their rooms. Keep this in mind when you are seeking a school for your child. Another factor to consider is the honesty of the teen making a claim of abuse. Very rarely do we have a parent tell us that their troubled youth is honest with them.
